INTEGRATED TRAIL PATROL TRAINING - CALL FOR NEW TRAIL WARDEN APPLICATIONS
Applications are now being accepted for the new Integrated Trail Patrol Program. NS Trails has been contracted to implement the new program. Trail Warden Training sessions will be held across the province over the next few months and we would encourage the participation of NSORRA, ATVANS and SANS members in this exciting program.
There is no charge to receive trail warden training. The Integrated Trail Patrol Program is a wonderful opportunity to educate the public about your organization, local trails and promote trail safety and etiquette. It is also seen as a beneficial program by adjacent landowners to trails. When landowners understand there will be regular patrols in their area it provides them a greater sense of security.
Kindly ask your member groups to distribute the attached application form to anyone who may be interested in becoming a trail warden and ask them to send the completed application along to our office. It is important for new applicants to complete the entire application and ensure the group or club President signs the application form.
